Seneca Fire Engineering Joins Coffman Engineers

ATLANTA, July 25, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Coffman Engineers, Inc., a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, has announced that Seneca Fire Engineering, LLC, a Georgia-based firm specializing in fire engineering forensics, will join its team. The companies plan to finalize an asset purchase agreement on July 31, 2024. Dan Arnold, PE, FSFPE, managing partner of Seneca Fire Engineering, will join Coffman as a Principal Advisor and continue his work in fire engineering investigations.

This merger aims to enhance services for both Seneca Fire Engineering and Coffman Engineers' clients, particularly in forensic fire engineering investigations and litigation support. Clients of Seneca Fire Engineering will continue to work directly with Arnold and gain access to the broader resources of Coffman’s team of over 100 fire protection engineers and designers across the United States.

Arnold, with over 40 years of experience in the field, has led Seneca Fire Engineering since its establishment in 2001. He has participated in numerous fire engineering investigations and has provided expert testimony in various courts. He is a registered fire protection engineer in 23 states and a Fellow of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
