Spirit of Nevada Wins 2024 Emmy® Award

LAS VEGAS, June 25, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Richard Harris Law Firm announced that its show, Spirit of Nevada, received an Emmy® Award from the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) on June 15, 2024. The award was in the Magazine Program category, recognizing excellence in a program, series, or special designed to entertain and inform. The winning episode, “The Wild West is Alive in Virginia City, Nevada,” debuted in 2023.

Spirit of Nevada was created by Richard Harris, Executive Producer and Founder of the Richard Harris Law Firm, in 2017 to promote Nevada's culture, history, and natural beauty. The show, hosted by Samantha Chian, features various locations throughout Nevada.

“Nearly eight years ago, I sat with Sam and presented the idea of Spirit of Nevada with no idea of what it would become,” said Harris. “After more than 200 episodes, I couldn’t be more proud. Sam has been integral to the growth of the show, and has made this show more special than I could have ever imagined. I have always wanted to highlight the parts of Nevada that people don’t typically see, and I’m glad that Spirit of Nevada is accomplishing the mission so successfully. The NATAS seeks to recognize outstanding achievements in television and allied media by conferring annual awards of merit in each Chapter's designated award region. The presentation of these awards is intended to be an incentive for continued excellence in television and digital media, focusing public attention on outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news, informational programming, and craft achievements.
