BLACKWOOD, N.J., October 20, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Transylvania Concrete Coatings (TCC) is sponsoring Pit Bull Awareness Month this October, partnering with the Animal Welfare Association in New Jersey to challenge stereotypes associated with the breed. TCC is accepting donations for the Association throughout the month and has also sponsored Austin Powers, a one-year-old pit-terrier mix currently residing at the shelter.

Bogdan Pop, the owner of TCC, has long been an advocate for pit bulls and is the proud owner of these canines himself. “I've witnessed firsthand the love and loyalty pit bulls offer," said Pop. "It's disheartening to see these incredible dogs being unfairly labeled as dangerous and even banned in some communities. We want to change that narrative and give pit bulls the recognition and love they deserve." The company's initiative will support the shelter's care and rehabilitation programs for animals, including pit bulls like Austin Powers who are in need of permanent homes.

Apart from this, TCC is also participating in various other charitable events in October. These include the HotRod Garage Car Show for Breast Cancer Awareness on October 1, the Camden County 4-H Pumpkin Patch event on October 21, and the American Red Cross Halloween Blood Drive on October 31. The involvement in these events signifies TCC's commitment to community well-being and aims to foster a more compassionate and informed society.
