CVS Health Partner Aetna Joins OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation to Provide Free Eye Exams and Glasses to 397 Philadelphia Residents

PHILADELPHIA, October 20, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - In a collaborative initiative to address vision care inequities, 397 individuals in Philadelphia recently received free eye exams and glasses. The vision clinic, organized by the North America affiliate of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and its partner Aetna, a CVS Health company, was held at the Philadelphia Housing Authority in September.

With the goal of providing access to quality vision care, the clinic adopted OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation's proven clinic model and leveraged the Foundation's manufacturing capabilities. This enabled most participants in need of glasses to receive their new eyewear on-site during the event. A cadre of personnel from the Foundation, Aetna, and EssilorLuxottica contributed to the successful staffing of the clinic.
