GRANGER, Ind., October 2, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Wag'n Tails, a company specializing in mobile grooming vans and veterinarian clinics, has launched its "Mobile Grooming for a Cause" campaign. The initiative, which began on October 1, encourages mobile groomers to donate their services to local animal shelters, aiming to improve the chances of shelter animals finding permanent homes.

The campaign offers participating groomers the opportunity to win exclusive rewards, acknowledging their charitable contributions. "At Wag'n Tails, we believe that every pet deserves a loving family,” said Dennis Gnetz, CEO of Wag’n Tails Mobile Conversions. "Our hope is that this campaign will give these animals a chance to find their forever homes."

Originally introduced in response to the 2008 recession's impact on animal shelters, the campaign is held in October to coincide with the ASPCA’s Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Given current challenges such as inflation and a pandemic-related increase in animal shelter populations, Wag'n Tails is renewing its call for groomers to donate their expertise. The company asserts that a professionally groomed appearance can significantly enhance a shelter animal's appeal to potential adopters.
