MARSHFIELD, Wis., October 25, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Nelson-Jameson, distributor for the dairy processing industry, revealed that Amanda Nelson Sasse will assume two pivotal roles in the organization. Sasse, a fourth-generation owner and direct descendant of co-founders Earl Nelson and Ted Nelson, will take on the responsibilities as Vice President of Philanthropy and Social Impact for Nelson-Jameson and as President of the Nelson-Jameson Foundation (NJF).

Nelson Sasse has previously held leadership roles across various departments within Nelson-Jameson for 14 years. As Vice President of Philanthropy and Social Impact, she will direct the company's philanthropic activities, foster partnerships, and focus on lasting social impact. Concurrently, she will act as the President of the Nelson-Jameson Foundation, serving as the liaison between the foundation and Nelson-Jameson, overseeing board meetings, committees, and managing marketing and public relations functions. "Nelson-Jameson was built on the values of supporting employee well-being and fostering strong communities. A charitable focus is embedded in our culture,” Nelson Sasse remarked. “I’m thrilled to continue this 76-year-old legacy."

The Nelson-Jameson Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established to expand and formalize the company’s long-standing tradition of philanthropy and community engagement. The foundation's key initiatives revolve around three pillars: supporting employees, communities, and the industry. Among its programs are paid volunteer opportunities for employees, an Assistance Fund for employees in emergency situations, scholarship programs, donation and charitable grants, and a Matching Gift Program for employee donations.

Mike Rindy, Nelson-Jameson President, commented, "Amanda has made tremendous contributions to Nelson-Jameson during her tenure here, and her passion for the Nelson-Jameson Foundation’s work is unmatched. I look forward to continuing to partner with her to deliver the exceptional and carry out our shared values across the Nelson-Jameson family of companies."
