Steffl brings a broad background in healthcare and technology to his new role, where he will lead the company's efforts to enhance its telehealth offerings.

Steffl's career includes 16 years with the American Hospital Association (AHA), where he served as Chief Operating and Development Officer. During his tenure, he managed the association's for-profit endorsement arm and played a key role in the creation and management of three start-up organizations. His experience aligns with AMD Global Telemedicine's goals of leveraging digital health technologies to innovate in the healthcare sector.

Most recently, Steffl was the President and CEO of ADA Business Innovation Group, a subsidiary of the American Dental Association, where he focused on developing and scaling a business portfolio in dental technology. He was instrumental in growing ADA Practice Transitions, which helps facilitate the buying and selling of dental practices.

Steffl also served as Vice President of Strategic Development and Finance at Delta Dental Plans Association, where he oversaw strategic initiatives that contributed to the organization's growth. Before that, he was the President of Pivot Health Advisors, providing product strategy and commercialization consulting for a large hospital system.

In addition to his professional roles, Steffl is a mentor at MATTER, a healthcare incubator and accelerator in Chicago, where he offers guidance to start-up organizations in the healthcare industry.
