Coffman Engineers Expands with New Office in Austin, Texas

AUSTIN, Texas, August 13, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Coffman Engineers, Inc. (Coffman), a multidiscipline engineering firm, has announced the opening of its 22nd office, located in Austin, Texas. This expansion marks Coffman’s third office in the state, underscoring the firm's commitment to meeting growing engineering demands in the region.

The new Austin office, situated at Barton Oaks Plaza One, 901 Mopac Expressway South, Suite 300, aims to serve clients across various sectors including commercial, healthcare, higher education, housing, hospitality, industrial, and energy markets. The office will also support Federal connections in nearby San Antonio.

Eric Apolenis, PE, Vice President of Coffman’s Southeast Region, oversees the management of the new office. Apolenis highlighted the strategic importance of the Austin location, stating, “Austin is strategically important because many of our clients have offices and headquarters there. It was time to open an office location in central Texas and support our clients across the state.”

The Austin office is further supported by local senior discipline mechanical engineer, Sam Swinbank, PE, who joined Coffman in 2022. With over 25 years of consulting engineering experience, Swinbank will focus on providing mechanical and plumbing engineering services, mentoring junior staff, and driving business development efforts within Austin and the broader Texas market.
