ANNAPOLIS, Md., September 26, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Made Plus, co-founded by industry veterans Trey Hentz, Kevin Fisher, and Alan Guyan, has launched a new footwear initiative in Annapolis, heralding an innovative approach to shoe manufacturing that emphasizes sustainability. Situated at 190 Admiral Cochrane Dr. STE 170, Made Plus has streamlined the traditional production process, cutting down the typical 300 steps to a mere 50, in a bid to minimize environmental impact.

Alan Guyan, the brand's Founder and CEO, outlined Made Plus's eco-centric mission, stating, "We're committed to reducing our carbon footprint, minimizing waste, and upholding ethical practices." He further emphasized a local production approach, adding, "Our aim is to create products for and by the people of Annapolis, fostering community connections."

A distinguishing feature of Made Plus is its made-to-order model, integrating advanced technologies like 3D printing, knitting, and digital modeling. This approach ensures customized footwear that aligns with the brand's environmentally conscious ethos. Guyan shared the brand's perspective: "We aspire to redefine the footwear industry standards, combining unique design with a tailored customer experience."

The "SKIFF" lifestyle shoe, one of Made Plus's inaugural products, pays homage to Annapolis's rich boating history. Incorporating the UPKNT technology, each pair is crafted from six recycled plastic water bottles, eliminating unnecessary foams and linings, and prioritizing sustainable materials. "The 'SKIFF' represents our dedication to melding contemporary design with eco-friendly materials, bringing to life our vision of sustainable fashion," Guyan noted.
