OrthoLite Announces Raj Santhana as Vice President of Operational Excellence

AMHERST, Mass., October 25, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – OrthoLite, a supplier of open-cell foam technology for the footwear industry, has announced the appointment of Raj Santhana as its new Vice President of Operational Excellence. In this role, Santhana will manage OrthoLite’s manufacturing processes, automation, and digital transformation, working with the company’s Global Foam Innovation Team based in Singapore to support the company’s footwear foam production.

Santhana brings over 20 years of experience in the footwear and manufacturing industries, having previously held leadership roles at Bata as Global Head of Quality and at Adidas, where he oversaw quality and manufacturing operations. “In addition to his vast expertise in the footwear industry, Raj holds two engineering degrees and he will be critical to driving operational excellence programs for our global team of 3,200 people at OrthoLite’s owned manufacturing facilities around the world,” said Richard Bevan, Chief Operating Officer of OrthoLite.

Additionally, OrthoLite has promoted Shaw Kiat Phua to Vice President of Global Foaming. According to the company, Phua will lead OrthoLite’s Global Foam Innovation Team, focusing on the development of sustainable innovations in the company’s polyurethane (PU) materials. Phua will continue to report to Bevan and will oversee operations across OrthoLite’s manufacturing facilities in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Europe, India, and Brazil.
