San Diego Businessman, Sam Nejabat, Appointed to California State University Board of Trustees

SAN DIEGO, June 27, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Sam Nejabat, Founder and Former President of SJN Properties, has been appointed to the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees, according to an announcement from the Governor's office. Nejabat is also a member of the San Diego Convention Center Corporation Board of Directors and the San Diego County Fair Board of Directors.

The CSU Board of Trustees is responsible for adopting regulations and policies that govern the entire CSU system. The Board's committees oversee areas such as educational policy, finance, campus planning, and facilities. Nejabat’s appointment fills the position previously held by Lateefah Simon, who is running for Congress in the East Bay.

In addition to his new role, Nejabat currently serves as Senior Advisor of Business Affairs for the California Department of Justice under Attorney General Rob Bonta. Before his tenure at the DOJ, Nejabat established one of San Diego's largest real estate companies. His appointment to the CSU Board of Trustees requires Senate confirmation.
