AUSTIN, Texas, February 13, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Semi-Stow has expanded its operations in the Phoenix metropolitan area with the acquisition of an 11-acre semi-truck parking facility, the company announced in a press release. This new site, located at 3045 S 43rd Ave in Phoenix, was acquired as part of Yellow Corporation's bankruptcy sale and represents Semi-Stow's third fleet yard in the region.

Positioned near key logistics hubs and just 10 minutes from the I-10 corridor, the facility is strategically located to serve the Southern California market and other major cities within a day's drive, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and El Paso. The demand for regional truck parking has led Semi-Stow to expand its footprint in Phoenix, where its existing facilities in Glendale and the Airhaven Industrial District are currently at full capacity.

The new yard is equipped to offer more than 300 parking, storage, and staging spaces for semi-trucks, drop trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles. It features an asphalt yard with concrete dolly pads, secure 24/7 access controlled by AI-powered gate automation, 4k security cameras, and stadium lighting for enhanced security and convenience.

Additionally, the property includes two maintenance buildings totaling 9,000 square feet and a 13,900-square-foot cross-dock facility with 2,500 square feet of office space. Semi-Stow is actively seeking tenants for these onsite facilities.

“Our Phoenix expansion is in direct response to surging customer demand for our fleet yards,” said Trent Cameron, CEO of Semi-Stow. He further elaborated on the company's mission, stating, “Trucking companies of all sizes stand to benefit from more accessible, secure parking in the greater Phoenix metro. And we look forward to expanding our relationships with nearby enterprise fleets, who increasingly use our yards for strategic trailer positioning and drop-and-hook relays.”

According to the company, this acquisition is part of Semi-Stow's aggressive strategy to enhance its nationwide network of secure, modern fleet yards, supported by a $500 million real estate investment. The company aims to grow its presence in top metropolitan statistical areas through purchasing, leasing, and asset management agreements.
