SHENYANG, China, December 14, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - The China State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company has announced significant advancements in Shenyang's urban power grid network construction. This initiative is in line with Shenyang's strategic goal to become a central city in Northeast China, as per the company's recent statement.

A key project highlighting this advancement is the Shenyang Vehicle and Innovation Industrial Park, which started at the beginning of 2022. The State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company's Shenbei New District Unit is planning to build a new 10 kV power pipeline and other supporting power grid projects. This development aims to create a high-reliability power grid network to accommodate the industrial park's power needs.

In compliance with Shenyang's 14th Five-Year Plan and Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035, the company focuses on enhancing the functionality of strategic areas. These include the Shenyang Area of the China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park. The company's efforts are directed toward promoting trade liberalization and investment facilitation, contributing to Shenyang's development as an open and cooperative economy.

The State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company has allocated substantial investments for these projects. In the high-reliability power supply demonstration zone project in southern Shenyang, the company invested 133 million Chinese yuan (about 18.52 million US dollars) in 21 different projects, involving new constructions and the intelligent transformation of the urban grid network.

Since July 2022, the company has been working on creating urban power grid network construction demonstration zones. A total investment of 275 million yuan (approximately 38.33 million US dollars) has been made for building and transforming nine 66 kV substations, 135 10 kV lines, and 988 new 10 kV distribution transformers.

Sun Lifeng, director of the power grid network construction management department at State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company, stated, “It is estimated that by 2025, the standardization rate of the grid structure in the demonstration area will reach 95%, and the power supply reliability will reach 99.994%. We will power up the urban grid network for the world's leading cities.”
