LITTLE ROCK, Ark., April 4, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Arkana Laboratories, a center for esoteric pathology, has announced the commencement of a renovation and expansion project at its headquarters in West Little Rock. The project, marked by a groundbreaking ceremony on March 27, will revamp the facility's interior and exterior and add a new 10,000-square-foot extension.

The construction, slated to begin in late April on Executive Center Drive, is expected to last 25 months, with Nabholz Construction managing the project.

"The addition to our laboratory along with the renovation of our office spaces will allow Arkana to continue its persistent growth in a more efficient environment. With this added space, we will be able to offer our world-class diagnostic services to even more patients and clinicians across the country while making space for more jobs locally,” Aaron Nichols, Chief Operations Officer at Arkana Laboratories, stated regarding the project's goals.

Arkana Laboratories has a 23-year presence in Little Rock and employs over 185 individuals.

Denise Norwood, Chief Marketing Officer, expressed the company's dedication to local investment, saying, “We are proud to be a part of the Little Rock community and we are committed to investing in our employees and the local economy. This renovation project is just one example of our commitment to that.”
