Bob Hestand Appointed as Chief Information Officer and SVP, Workplace Innovation at Relay Resources

PORTLAND, Ore., December 7, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Relay Resources, an employer for people with disabilities in the Pacific Northwest, has announced the appointment of Bob Hestand as Chief Information Officer and SVP, Workplace Innovation. Hestand, with a notable background in technology and non-profit sectors, aims to enhance the organization's focus on universal design and advocate for people with disabilities.

Hestand's career started at the American Red Cross, where he advanced to the position of IT Director. His tenure at the Red Cross was marked by his commitment to operational support and making a positive impact on lives.

Before joining Relay Resources, Hestand was influential in leading IT and HR functions at Neil Kelly. He played a pivotal role in navigating the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic and was instrumental in establishing the company's initial IT function.

Hestand is an alumnus of the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, where he earned an Executive MBA, and Indiana University for his undergraduate studies. He is also known for his advisory roles on several digital transformation and technology boards in the U.S. and U.K.
