Myers Industries Appoints Aaron Schapper as CEO, President, and Director

AKRON, Ohio, November 21, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Manufacturing and distribution company, Myers Industries Inc., has announced the appointment of Aaron M. Schapper as its new President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director, effective January 1, 2025. Schapper will succeed Dave Basque, who has served as Interim President and CEO since September 9, 2024. Basque will return to his prior role as Vice President of Special Projects.
Schapper brings prior experience leading global industrial businesses, most recently serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Group President of Agriculture at Valmont Industries Inc. During his tenure at Valmont, Schapper held leadership roles across all business divisions, including Group President of Infrastructure and Group President of Utility Support Structures. Before Valmont, Schapper served as General Manager at Orbit Irrigation Products Inc., based in Shanghai, China.
