Evgeny Fedoseev Steps in as COO of Novaphos, Aiming to Revolutionize Sustainable Phosphate Production
FORT MEADE, Fla., October 4, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Phosphate production company, Novaphos, today unveiled Evgeny Fedoseev as its new Chief Operating Officer. Having gained over two decades of international experience in the chemical industry, Fedoseev is tasked with leading the commercialization of Novaphos's innovative technology that ensures sustainable phosphoric acid production.
Fedoseev has been at the forefront of fertilizer production operations across various countries, including Belgium, China, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, and Russia. With an academic foundation that includes a Master of Science, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, and an EMBA degree, Fedoseev recently undertook a significant transition, moving from Russia to the United States following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Before joining Novaphos, Fedoseev managed operations for the fertilizer segment at EuroChem Group, a Switzerland-based international agrochemical conglomerate. In his role at Novaphos, Fedoseev will be reporting to CEO, Timothy Cotton.
Timothy Cotton, Novaphos's CEO, expressed confidence in the appointment, stating, "Novaphos has over a decade's dedication in pioneering a cutting-edge, sustainable process for producing top-tier phosphoric acid. Our proprietary technology marks a paradigm shift in the industry." He added, "Fedoseev's expansive experience and expertise promise to be invaluable as Novaphos gears up to revolutionize the phosphate sector. His decision to relocate from Russia and join us in Florida underscores our commitment to innovation and excellence."
Expressing his enthusiasm for the role, Evgeny Fedoseev said, "Novaphos stands out with its fresh technological approach in a traditionally static market. Post the unsettling Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, my family and I chose to leave our homeland as a mark of protest. Today, as part of the Novaphos family, I am keen to channel my expertise to foster the company's growth. The unwavering support from the Novaphos team during our transition has been commendable."
In his role, Fedoseev is poised to prioritize product quality, streamline company operations, and emphasize the safety and efficiency of the company's industrial assets. Having previously led the fertilizer manufacturing divisions at EuroChem Group, Fedoseev's responsibilities involved integrating new and existing business units into a cohesive operational framework. His appointment follows his immigration approval and the receipt of a work permit from the U.S. in June.
