"Lunar Lockdown" Debuts on ALLBLK Network Following Premiere Event

LOS ANGELES, February 6, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Plymouth Blvd Productions recently unveiled their latest sci-fi thriller, "Lunar Lockdown," with a premiere at iPic Westwood on January 23, followed by its streaming launch on the ALLBLK network on February 1. The event featured a black carpet, complimentary cocktails, and a Q&A session with the film's star, LisaRaye McCoy.

The premiere attracted numerous guests, including the movie’s producers, Damien Douglas and Kevin Weisberg, and lead actress LisaRaye McCoy. At the event, Douglas, who also contributed as a writer and actor, shared insights into the film's plot alongside Weisberg to an engaged audience treated to unlimited popcorn, candy, and an entree of choice.

LisaRaye McCoy discussed significant experiences during filming in a post-screening Q&A. The festivities continued at Senator Jones for an after-party with music by DJ Brian Henry, highlighted by a dessert bar and champagne.

Set in 2075, "Lunar Lockdown" explores a future where the United States sends its most violent criminals to serve their sentences on the moon, under the watch of Warden Felicity Myers (played by McCoy). The story follows inmate Christina Jenkins (Laila Odom) as she unites with fellow prisoners to fight for their freedom and dignity against exploitation at Orion Colony Prison.

The film boasts a cast including LisaRaye McCoy, Cameo Sherrell, Leila Weisberg, Erica Peeples, Jhone Y. Lucas, Janeshia Adams-Ginyard, Damien Douglas, Mark Fleischmann, Laila Odom, and Nari Blair-Mangat.
