Monument Health Honored with Curvo's 2023 Award for Excellence in Sourcing

EVANSVILLE, Ind., October 10, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Monument Health Supply Chain has been recognized with the Curvo 2023 Customer Performance Excellence Award, acknowledging its stellar performance in strategic sourcing. The award spotlights healthcare supply chains that exhibit remarkable performance across five distinct categories: Physician Alignment, Cost Reduction, Supplier Relations, Reduction of Product/Clinical Variation, and Technology Utilization.

  2. Cost Reduction: Over a span of two years, Monument Health managed to cut down costs by $2,800,000 across various physician preference item categories.

  3. Supplier Relations: The proactive approach of the supply chain established trust with suppliers, compelling them to prioritize Monument Health RFPs.

  4. Reduced Product and Clinical Variation: There was a marked reduction in clinical variation, and an upswing in product standardization through committed contracts in several domains.

  5. Technology Utilization: Monument Health showcased exemplary usage of the Curvo Platform, with sourcing activities placing it in the top percentile. This effective utilization led to the completion of an RFP in under 22 days.
