The device is designed with a modular architecture, AI-optimized Intel processor, enhanced performance, and advanced connectivity features, making it suitable for professionals working in demanding environments.

Its rugged durability is demonstrated by its compliance with MIL-STD-810H and IP66 standards and a reinforced magnesium alloy chassis. Security features include Intel® Hardware Shield, Secured-core PC, TPM v.2.0, and optional encrypted SSDs.

The TOUGHBOOK 40 Mk2 has significant improvements over its predecessor, with a 300% increase in cores, 100% more cache, 75% faster RAM, and 33% more storage. It also offers enhanced graphics and wireless capabilities.
