Redken Partners with QueerX Awards to Promote Inclusivity in 2023 Ceremony
LOS ANGELES, October 20, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - The 8th annual QueerX Awards, which premiered on October 11th–National Coming Out Day, showcased a collaboration between Redken and the awards event, aiming to promote inclusivity and acceptance. The ceremony was streamed globally by Revry, the world's first LGBTQ+ streaming service. The evening began with a striking transformation as event host Arisce Wanzer received a makeover at the Redken Salon, courtesy of Vernon François, Redken's Global Consultant and Celebrity Hairstylist.
The partnership also marks Redken's renewed commitment to the It Gets Better Project for the second consecutive year. In line with this commitment, Redken has launched online courses through Hairdressers United, aimed at educating hairdressers on creating inclusive and safe salon environments.
