CDI Products Introduces New Aerospace Sealing System and Digital Catalogue

HOUSTON, September 25, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - CDI Products, LLC (CDI) has rolled out its new Aerospace Sealing System Product Line. This system is developed with materials that include CDI’s Arylast™, Arylex®, and Armorlene® and is designed to adhere to the specifications of the aerospace and defense sectors. The product range includes OptiSeal®, T-Seals, Cap Seals, Piston Rings, and several others, suited for applications in various aerospace areas such as landing gear and engine systems.

The Arylast™ category encompasses specific elastomers tailored for aerospace conditions, supporting a broad temperature spectrum. CDI's Director of Engineering, Mike Hedger, provided insights into Arylex® compounds, noting that these materials maintain their mechanical attributes even when subjected to temperatures as high as 230°C (450°F). Concurrently, Armorlene® is anchored around Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer resins.

Alongside this product introduction, CDI unveiled its Digital Catalogue, aimed at presenting a detailed overview of their aerospace sealing offerings.
