PORTSMOUTH, N.H., September 26, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Boston Celtics player and founder of The 7uice Foundation, Jaylen Brown, recently engaged with scholars from Education For All Children (EFAC) during their annual Bridge-to-Success Workshop in Nairobi, Kenya. Brown's involvement underscores his commitment to expand his role as a global advocate for education and social justice in 2023.

The workshop, held in late August, convened over 200 high school students from EFAC's program, focusing on elements like mental health, leadership, and practical skills like digital literacy. In collaboration with EFAC, Brown initiated the workshop through a live Zoom call, where he interacted with the students and responded to their queries. Among the students, 10th-grader Quinanne, aspiring to be an inventor, posed a question about life's greatest lessons. Emphasizing the significance of self-belief, Brown said, “Have confidence. Never let somebody break your spirit.”

Mary Kiguru, EFAC Country Director, remarked on the positive influence of Brown's engagement, "Such interactions amplify the message that these young people matter, enhancing their confidence to pursue their dreams."

Highlighting the power of collaboration, Matt Gianino, U.S. Executive Director of EFAC, quoted an African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together."
