HighByte Appoints Megan Buntain and Ben Sampson to Board of Directors

PORTLAND, Maine, November 7, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Industrial software company HighByte has announced the addition of Megan Buntain and Ben Sampson to its Board of Directors.
Buntain, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Seeq, has more than 25 years of experience in software, specializing in marketing and partner alliances. Her previous roles include a 15-year tenure at Microsoft and her current involvement on various AI and partner advisory councils. Sampson, Managing Director at Standard Investments, oversees Standard’s venture capital platform with an emphasis on industrial sectors. Before joining Standard, Sampson led investments at GE Ventures in areas like energy, transportation, and manufacturing.

The five-member board includes Buntain, Sampson, Sujeet Chand (former CTO of Rockwell Automation), newly appointed Board Chair Seth Lawry, and Paine. Lawry joined the board in 2022 following a Series Seed round led by his family office, along with that of Soren Oberg. Board observers include Joe Powers from MVF, Matthew Hoffner from Maine Technology Institute, Chandler Jones of CEI Ventures, and Drew Kriens of Standard Investments.
