PHOENIX, July 11, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - MicroAge® has announced the appointment of Tim McCulloch as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), succeeding Pete Schmitt, who is retiring after 23 years.

According to MicroAge, Pete Schmitt has been integral to the success of cStor, now part of MicroAge, and MicroAge itself for over two decades. Schmitt was a founding member of cStor and played a key role in shaping the company's technology and engineering strategies. His tenure included researching emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of industry trends.

Tim McCulloch joined MicroAge in March 2022 with a strong background in technology leadership. As the new CTO, McCulloch will shape MicroAge’s corporate IT strategy, drive the AI/ML roadmap and service adoption, ensure corporate security compliance, lead sales engineering, and evolve the company’s cybersecurity practice.
