PORTSMOUTH, N.H., September 21, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Education For All Children (EFAC) recently collaborated with Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, a renowned athlete and founder of The 7uice Foundation, to inspire EFAC Scholars in Kenya. Brown participated in EFAC's annual Bridge-to-Success Workshop via a live Zoom call, marking a significant step in his mission to extend his influence as a global advocate for education and social justice in 2023.

Over 200 high school students from EFAC's program convened in Nairobi, Kenya, for the week-long Bridge-to-Success Workshop. The initiative aims to prepare the scholars for the upcoming school year, focusing on mental health, leadership, communication skills, and practical proficiencies like digital and financial literacy. Brown, who shares similar objectives through The 7uice Foundation's Bridge Program, initiated the event with a motivational and interactive discussion with the students.

In a moment that captivated the young audience, a 10th-grade student named Quinanne asked Brown, "What is one of the greatest lessons you have learned in life?" Brown replied, "Never let somebody break your spirit, never give somebody the power to break your spirit."

Mary Kiguru, EFAC Country Director, expressed her gratitude, stating that Brown's involvement "means the world" to the scholars, who often come from challenging backgrounds and circumstances. She added, "Events like this reinforce the truth that they matter and give them confidence to fulfill their dreams and make a difference."

Matt Gianino, U.S. Executive Director of EFAC, highlighted the importance of partnerships like this one, saying, "Collaborations with like-minded organizations like The 7uice Foundation and champions like Jaylen Brown are critical to the long-term success of the young people we serve."
