SilverScreen Pictures to Release Action-Adventure Film "The Queen’s Jewels"

LOS ANGELES, September 9, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – SilverScreen Pictures has announced the upcoming release of The Queen’s Jewels, an independent action-adventure film directed by Joshua Friedman. The film follows the story of Beau Holloway, a young surfer who embarks on a quest to uncover a 300-year-old treasure linked to the 1715 Spanish Fleet. The movie is currently in pre-production, with filming expected to conclude this Saturday in Vero Beach, Florida.

Set in the Bahamas, The Queen’s Jewels features Beau Holloway as he navigates a dangerous journey to find the treasure after the murder of his father. The narrative brings together themes of adventure and suspense as Beau teams up with two locals from Andros Island, Orion and Lala, to solve the puzzle. They are pursued by a rival group led by a villain seeking the same treasure.

The cast includes Carson Rowland, Kat McNamara, Michael Evans Behling, Natalie Martinez, and Tom Everett Scott. Director Joshua Friedman, who has a history of award-winning films, expressed his personal connection to the project, saying, "When I first heard the story of a king, a queen, and her missing treasure in my little town of Vero Beach, I was hooked. The more I delved into the history and listened to the locals’ tales of treasure hunting, the more I knew this story had to be told."

SilverScreen Pictures, founded in 2008, is producing the film. The company is known for its work on over 100 films and TV series, and has collaborated with actors and filmmakers such as Lena Waithe and Hilary Swank. Executive Producer Linda Duncombe, recognized for her contributions to both the finance and entertainment industries, is also attached to the project. “Joshua Friedman has crafted a thrilling and timeless adventure,” Duncombe said, highlighting her enthusiasm for the film's potential.
