SAN FRANCISCO and BOLOGNA, Italy, November 5, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Music technology company, Musixmatch, has appointed Marco Paglia and Rio Caraeff as Co-Presidents. According to the company, the two executives will report to Musixmatch Founder and CEO Max Ciociola and will lead daily operations including heading up initiatives to enhance Musixmatch's global platform for music data and lyrics.

Ciociola commented on the importance of this new leadership structure for Musixmatch’s growth. Caraeff joined Musixmatch in 2023 as Chief Business Officer. He previously held senior roles in companies such as Vevo, where he was Founder and CEO, and Universal Music Group, where he managed licensing and new business development. Paglia, who became Chief Product Officer at Musixmatch in 2019, has led product development and design, overseeing initiatives such as Musixmatch Pro. His experience includes roles at Uber as Product Design Director and at Google, where he led Google Play design and innovation projects at YouTube.
