USAA Appoints Juan C. Andrade as President and Chief Executive Officer

SAN ANTONIO, January 8, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Financial services company USAA has announced the appointment of Juan C. Andrade as its next President and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2, 2025. Andrade has served on USAA’s Board of Directors for the past four years, contributing to committees focused on members, risk, financials, and technology.
Andrade has nearly 40 years of leadership experience in public service and the financial services sector. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Everest Group, Ltd., where he oversaw global diversification efforts and operational initiatives aimed at improving profitability. Prior to that, he held executive positions at Chubb, The Hartford, and Progressive, managing domestic and international operations. Early in his career, Andrade worked in the U.S. Federal Government, including roles within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. He received the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service for his work in countering international drug trafficking.

Andrade succeeds Wayne Peacock, who announced his retirement in August 2024 after serving as USAA’s CEO since 2020.
